Since its birth sixty years ago, the predecessor of CRCC, the Railway Engineering Corps, had conquered countless difficulties and dangers and made a number of wonders in the engineering field. In 1984, the Railway Engineering Corps were transformed to China Railway Construction Corporation, which, in November 2007, was reorganized into a corporate enterprise. Traditionally, CRCC has been specialized in building railways and highways including construction, survey, design and consultancy services, and has made glorious achievements throughout the decades. With the coming of the new century, CRCC has developed into one of the most eminent and largest composite construction companies in China and the world, playing a leading role in the construction industry. According to up-to-date statistics by well-known international agencies, CRCC presently ranks the 384th among the Fortune Global 500 Companies, the 6th among the Top 225 Global Contractors and the 15th among the 500 Top Enterprises in China.

In the new era, CRCC people will carry on our enterprise values of “keeping to good faith and innovation forever, achieving excellence both in products and morality”. While strengthening traditional project contracting and other core businesses, we will make vigorous efforts in developing overseas business, real estate, engineering design and consultancy, industrial manufacturing, capital investment, logistics and trades, etc., as new sources of profit increase. While strengthening our leading role in the construction industry in China, we are devoted to building CRCC as a most competitive composite construction group around the whole globe.

We will, under the correct leadership of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, continue to strengthen emphasis on the leading role of the market, optimize the industrial structure, improve enterprise management and promote technical renovation.
